PRIVACY NOTICE

Me-An Poppins’ Practically Perfect Manpower (MPPPM) endeavors to maintain the highest standards of confidentiality in dealing with client information and adhere to the Personal Information and Electronic Documents Act (“PIPEDA”), a federal privacy law. 

 

1. Accountability – The business is responsible for the personal information received from its clients and abide by the principles of PIPEDA in safeguarding that information in hard copy and computer documents. Employees of MPPPM also understand and abide by these rules.

 

2. Collection Purposes, Limitations on Collection, Use, Disclosure and Retention – Any and all identity, corporate and financial information is collected and kept solely for the purpose of providing service and ensure that any service rendered through MPPPM are provided quickly and correctly. MPPPM only collect and retain information that will help provide good service as an Employment Agency.

 

3. Consent – The nature of the business means that it must receive and retain information about its clients including financial data and identity verification. MPPPM uses this information to make verifications related to provision of workers to the said organizations. In becoming a client, and by signing this form, you agree to provide information, and allow MPPPM to retain your information in its paper and electronic files for as long as you wish MPPPM to be your partner or there is a legal need to retain the information. You also agree to receive electronic communications or Commercial Electronic Messages (CEMs) from MPPPM.  

 

4. Information Accuracy – MPPPM relies on receiving accurate information in order to make appropriate recommendations. You may review the personal and business information submitted upon request. MPPPM may also update the information regularly to ensure accuracy in making recommendations.

 

5. Safeguards – All the written information received from you is either in secure filing cabinets or in password protected computer files. Any computer files stored off site are encrypted or locked. Old files that are discarded are shredded or otherwise completely destroyed. Employees of MPPPM also understand the sensitivity of this information and the importance of protecting it.

 

6. Questions, Concerns and Access – You may contact MPPPM anytime by telephone, email or letter at the address shown on this page to inquire about your file and/or update changes. You may review PIPEDA online at:

If you have any complaints about the procedures, MPPPM will investigate and provide you with a response as soon as possible.
